Open to all members of the Natural Voice Practitioners Network and other choir leaders
and voice workers.
With poet Gill McEvoy and voice practitioners and song writers, Gitika Partington, Sue Harris and Polly Bolton.
Using words as a spring board for song writing, poet Gill will guide us through the stages of finding lyrics.
Polly, Sue and Gitika will be working in groups or one to one to help us to find new songs for ourselves or our choirs.
Lots of singing, some beautiful walks for inspiration and the hot tub! Places limited so please book early.
Costs range from £150 to £100 depending on accommodation. Please enquire.

toasting and tasting Georgian wine!
(Limited numbers, please book early). Stay over and camp and join in the
weekend singing workshops with Nana. From 6pm.

Blessed with a singing voice of exquisite delicacy, and a gentle teaching style,
Nana has developed a unique singing and teaching repertoire. She was born into a singing family and many of the
songs she sings and teaches she learned as a child in Georgia. Over 2 days she will share Georgian family healing
traditions, Batonebi songs, lullabies and sacred songs. Her songs are suitable for both men and women and the
workshops are open to all. Nana will teach for 2 days and you are welcome to attend for one or both days.
Price is £25 (£18 concessions) per day.
Nana works for a charity called HEART OF THE BRAVE. The charity works to
promote Georgian music as a healing tool and bring it to youngsters in Georgian orphanages.
LUNCH; bring your own pack lunch or book a vegetarian lunch at Oak barn for £5
ALSO there are limited places for a
supra Georgian supper with Nana on Friday May 14th,
with Georgian food, wine and songs, (see above).

Summer Singing Weekend

A weekend of wonderful singing workshops at Clee St Margaret village hall,
with food and camping at nearby Oak Barn Centre. Workshops will be led by Polly Bolton, Sue Harris,
Gitika Partington and Mark Thomas. Please note, buffet lunches will be served in the village hall on sat and sun.
July 30th Friday night; supper and sing at Oak Barn
July 31st Saturday am..... Sue Harris will teach some of her arrangements of songs old and new.
Sue has been leading voice workshops and choirs for over 14 years and is well known as one of the leading hammer
dulcimer players in the country.
Saturday pm.....Mark Thomas, kiwi musical genius and co- leader of the London Georgian choir, teaches some of his
favourite songs.
Saturday evening ....supper and camp fire at Oak Barn
August 1st Sunday am ....Gitika Partington. Leader of several large community choirs in London and writer and arranger
extra-ordinaire, a real singing treat.
Sunday pm....Polly Bolton, with original songs and arrangements to moisten the eye and gladden the heart! Folk, soul,
gospel, anything could happen!
All the facilitators are members of the Natural Voice Practitioners Network
COST FOR WHOLE WEEKEND £100 if staying on site.
Or
£40 per day to include both workshops and lunch, or drop in to workshops (£18 each) and food (Lunch £5, supper £7.50)
and stay off site.

Sue and Polly are both well known folk singers and song writers who have been leading community choirs for
over 10 years. They write and arrange many songs and all the songs we learn, from around the world, will be fun to
